Trace Aviation

About Us

Mike and Cheryl Pigott have been in the general aviation aircraft maintenance business since 1975.  In 2004, after becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the King Air landing gear exchange options available for his customers, Mike had the idea to open a King Air landing gear specialty shop.  He knew that if he could deliver King Air landing gear built per the aircraft serial number, a much needed industry void would be filled. From a “one man shop” to an FAA Certified Repair Station with EASA certification and 20+ employees, Trace Aviation has been proudly serving the Beechcraft King Air community for almost 15 years.

Trace Aviation’s technicians are experienced in all aspects of the Beechcraft King Air maintenance requirements.  What differentiates Trace Aviation from other King Air MRO’s is the special emphasis on the total King Air Landing Gear system.  In-house, Trace Aviation performs the inspection, overhaul, repair, paint, removal and installation of all types of King Air landing gear components.  With an extensive exchange inventory, specific knowledge and equipment, specialized tooling, and FAA approved repair processes, Trace Aviation has become a leading supplier of King Air landing gear services worldwide.

“We continually strive to provide the highest level of King Air Landing Gear expertise to assure operators the quality and reliability they expect along with value they demand. I guarantee consistent quality in all our work. We are proud to be King Air Landing Gear Specialists.” – Mike Pigott
